Deviated Septum

This patient has a portion of her deviated septum extending to her nostril, restricting airflow. The photo on the right shows the reduction of the septum to the midline, increasing the airspace.

Saddle-Nose Deformity

Depression of the nasal contour can be the result of trauma, infection or previous surgery.  Reconstruction of the depression in this patient was achieved by placement of a Gore-Tex implant.

Deviated Septum

Deviation of the septum can result in difficulty breathing through the nose.  The left photo shows a deviation into the patient's right nostril.  The result after surgical correction is seen on the right photo.
