Our specialty group practice was established in Edmonds 30 years ago by Dr. John Todd. This practice has continually served patients in the South Snohomish County and North King County area for ear, nose and throat care. Over the years, the practice has expanded in both the number of physicians and office locations. We currently provide specialty care to patients from many communities including Marysville, Everett, Lake Stevens, Monroe, Snohomish, Mill Creek, Mukilteo, Edmonds, Bothell, Lynnwood, Kenmore and North Seattle. We have 4 board certified and one board eligible otolaryngologists (ear, nose and throat physicians) with three office locations; Edmonds, Mill Creek, north Seattle (Northgate). We became members of Proliance Surgeons in 2008. This allows us to provide continued high quality ear, nose and throat care in our three office locations. In addition, we have a spacious and full up to date outpatient sugrery center in which to perform otolaryngologic procedures (Edmonds Center for Outpatient Surgery).
Our physicians maintain hospital privileges at Childrens Hospital, Northwest Hospital, Providence Everett Medical Center, and Stevens Hospital.
We accept most major insurances. Click here for a list of current plans we accept.
Otolaryngology is the branch of medicine that specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of ear, nose, and throat disorders. Thus, the common or lay term for our field is ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat). The official name of the specialty is otolaryngology-head and neck surgery. This reflects the diversity of our field; encompassing multiple organ systems and the ability to treat diseases both medically and surgically. To become a physician in our specialty, one must complete at least five years of surgical residency training. Typically, this is comprised of one year in general surgical training and four years in otolaryngology - head and neck surgery specialization. After completion of training, the physician must pass a rigorous battery of written and oral examinations to become "board certified in otolaryngology." This qualification ensures a standard of high quality competence of knowledge and skill in this field.
